Whew, if you ask me, that was a pretty sweet summer! Warm and sunny - more than we're used to for a Dutch summer. Trips to the beach with friends, bbq's and summer night strolls in the city. And of course, chilled glasses of rose. Oh so good! Summer decided to stay halfway through September, lucky us! Now let's slowly shift to the new season...

One of our friends is soon to become a momma and I take on every festive occassion to throw a party. (Can I make my job out of this?!) So the idea for this surprise babyshower party was born quickly :D
We shopped the prettiest and cutest gifts from the wishlist, I dove into my archives of meri meri goodies, wrapping paper, garlands, cups and more cups. The soon to be momma doesn't like too much of pink for her baby girl, so we brought some variety into the baby-girl-palette.
We went ahead and decorated their home while they were away to IKEA for some 'shopping'. The soon to be dad did a great job at keeping her out of the house :D The best part of all, the momma-to-be was TOTALLY suprised! So fun!

Just a few weeks ago the trending topic on Instagram was the peony flower. I did my part gramming as well, as they are probably my fave bloom of ALL TIME. What about you?
